All weddings to me are super special. I absolutely love telling all of your beautiful love stories! But every now and again, you get asked to do something that you know puts you in a pretty privileged spot. Cue Lee & Wade.

These two lovers have been together for 18 years. They’ve built a beautiful life and home together with their 3 amazing boys. They decided to have their wedding in secret, eloping in a backyard in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, and the only people who attended were their family of 5, Lee’s Dad, plus a small group of vendors. It was a super emotional day to be apart of, even Lee and Wade’s younger sons shed a couple of tears. It was impossible not to be caught up in how special and how much this day meant to Lee and Wade and their family unit.

Lee had her eldest son help her into her dress, while Wade waited downstairs for this bride to arrive. My Little Peony did the most amazing tropical bouquet for Lee, and Gary Reilly delivered a beautiful heartfelt ceremony. Once the papers were signed, we went off for some bridal portraits, and came back to the house were Lee and Wade cut their cake whilst their boys played out of the flats where the tide had gone out, throwing mud at each other. It was such a perfect day and I feel so lucky to have been involved ad asked along x
